VIRTUAL CONCIERGE: CASE STUDY

Self-Service Concierge

Self-Service Concierge

Stein Eriksen is a 5-star resort in the beautiful mountains of Park City, Utah. The resort staff prides itself on the highest quality of service to the guests. Occasionally, the hotel staff becomes overloaded with guest questions and inquiries. Stream’s Virtual Concierge solution was a great fit to allow guests to inquire about dining, spa services, and local events right from a beautiful interactive touchscreen.

The Solution

Using Stream’s Virtual Concierge kiosk, Stein Eriksen guests are now able to quickly book a reservation to a restaurant, a spa treatment, or find the best local events in the hotel area. The goal of the screen is to educate and provide all the information a guest would need about accommodations during their stay. By using the kiosk, the hotel staff is free to answer more pressing questions and allows guests to browse at their convenience.

Functionality

ADVERTISING

Hotels can display in-house promotions to the spa or dining via video and banner ads.

LISTINGS

Off-site restaurants and venues can list their services for guest interaction.

TEXTING

Once a guest finds something that interests them, a text message is sent directly from the screen to them.

“Guests love the Virtual Concierge! It also allows our staff to address more pressing issues related to the guests’ stay.

— Guy, G.M. Stein Eriksen
